StitchIt album app and site

For a RIA project I chose to create an application based on Adobe AIR that would let users signup and login to their accounts and create albums. These albums can be shared with the world or kept private with a single click of a button. You can edit your albums and pictures in any way you want to create the album you like and put it online. The application website can be found here on the StitchIt website.

Note that you can create an account but it still has to be activated by the administrator. This for the simple reason that my own server cannot be used as a mass storage for pictures that came from everyone I (don’t) know . So to compensate I created some screenshots of the app at work and posted them below.

3D Toys: play with us!

Created an animation that has to motivate kids to play with traditional toys like lego and domino. This was an assignment given to prove what skills we have in 3Ds MAX after a series of courses.

Lego Creator Car in 3D

I created a 3D model for a Lego Creator car. It was one of the first larger projects I did in the third dimension and I loved creating it. I put a lot of time in it to make the details right.

3D Ipod Classic

I wanted to get into some 3d to sharpen my skills in the third dimension. I recently bought an Ipod so I decided to model an Ipod Classic. The results can be viewed below and if you click the image you will be able to view a high res render of the model.

Amnesty International Rich Internet Application

I created a Rich Internet Application (RIA) for Amnesty International. Users can support Amnesty by signing a petition in their own unique way. They hook up their webcam, take a original picture, edit some settings and submit it to the application. The user can user the integrated Twitter functionality to notify friends that they supported Amnesty International.

Motion Graphics Rush-assignment

A Rush-assignment for Motion Graphics has been given and I created a representation of one of my occupations, gaming. A rush-assignment is an assignment that has to be completed within a limited amount of time (for example 2 hours from now).

Hopla!

Hopla is a television show for kids featuring basic 3D animals. Hopla is the rabbit in this show. I created a scene where Hopla and his friends are at the farm. I used 3Ds Max for this 3D modelling.

Flash Photo Gallery

I had 3 months of vacation between 2 years of school and I couldn’t wait to start a new Actionscript project. I just like to create something with Flash and AS3. I came up with the idea of my own Flash Photo Gallery.

It supports directories and subdirectories that you can choose through comboboxes. Images are preloaded and only 3 images are loaded at once so no bandwith is wasted. There are a few more tiny cool things about it so i suggest you check it out! You can download images you like.

Imagine Cup Shortfilm

I participated in the Microsoft Imagine Cup Competition with a Shortfilm. We got to the semi finals with our shortfilm. The story is about a girl and a boy that are growing up. The boy is more of a rebel and the girl is a good student who will succeed in her life. The girl will use technologie to make progress while the boy uses it in another way. The theme of this years Imagine Cup was “Imagine a world where technology helps solve the world’s toughest problems.”
